In 2020, CC Ground Investigations Limited increased its cable percussive drilling capacity with the purchase of two more cable rigs. Eighteen months on, and despite the challenges of a pandemic, we now have a thriving team of cable drillers with extensive experience of drilling in the varying ground conditions of the UK.
Following further investment this month, we now have casing diameters including 300mm, 250mm, 200mm and 150mm. Our own crews have been supported by our rotary rigs, providing follow on drilling into rock head. A huge advantage of having our own CP and Rotary crews is it makes the logistics of this sometimes problematic technique, much easier to manage.
